Title: MCDM Mini-course in Nanjing

Abstract:

Prof. Maisa will give three mini-courses on MCDM/A (Multi-Criteria Decision Making/Analysis), which includes four key points. Firstly, Basic Notions of  MCDA/M, including definition of a decision problem and a multidimensional decision problem and Multicriteria problematics, etc. Secondly, Preference Modeling,expressing binary relations and preference structures, etc. Thirdly, MCDM/A methods, including electre and promethee, etc. Finally, MCDM Group Decision, which includes basic concepts, aggregation approaches to support group decision and voting systems.

Brief introduction of the lecturer:

Masia is an associate professor in the Dept. of Management Engineering，Universidade Federal de Pernambuco since 2012. Under the guidance of professor Hipel and Kilgour, she participated in post-doctoral research work in the Conflict Analysis Group in Waterloo (Department of Systems Design Engineering) in 2016. She is a researcher at CDSID (Center of Decision Systems and Information Development) and GPSID (Group of Information and Decision Systems Research). She is also the member of the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Association Conflict Resolution Technical Committee. Her research interests mainly focus on multi-criteria decision making, game theory, conflict analysis and resolution, and optimization models.
